IJN

IJN was born out of the owner's suffering and deliverance. It stands for "In Jesus' Name!" I grew up in a Christian family and was required to attend church. It was during a Tuesday Bible study that I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior on June 6, 1972. I admit that my desire to talk to God was partly driven by the kids who made fun of me. Years later, as a mother of two small children, I suffered a near-death experience in which I nearly died and went to heaven. Though I knew it happened, I couldn't remember much due to head trauma. Three years after my accident, while in church, I relived that near-death experience through Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I was singing the song that had been playing in my car at the time of the accident when I felt the impact. In that moment, I was able to see into the spiritual realm and was disturbed by what I saw. I found myself constantly praying and consecrating my life after realizing that natural actions can have a spiritual connection. For example, in the Holy Bible, Moses stretched out his rod, and it turned into a serpent; Elisha was able to make a borrowed axe head float by throwing a stick into the river. I came to understand that by faith, "There is nothing we can't do!" There is so much power in the name of Jesus Christ that remains untapped for many Christians today. Because I found myself caught between the natural and the spiritual, I began to see things differently and decided to create a brand that embodies faith in God and faith in Jesus Christ. That’s how IJN was born for me.
